The Leicestershire Microlight Aircraft Club (LMAC) is a non commercial flying club based in the county of Leicestershire.
The club operates from Various sites in the county along with the Midland Aerotowing Group. The Aerotowing Group fly hang
gliders from LMAC sites, using microlight tug aircraft.
The field at Swinford is back to normal now. However, be on the lookout for captive balloons that may be flying close to the airfield at heights of up to 400' These are being flown by the group opposing the wind farm to show the size of the proposed turbines. Also be aware of the 300 foot mast close to the climb out from 02, which is there to measure wind speeds at various heignts for the proposed windfarm
